Mélo Eatery
This project was enjoyable and brief. It involved creating a design for a menu and a drinks menu, which were intended for use at each table throughout the restaurant, as well as in large print outside the establishment to attract attention.
The restaurant features a very modern and minimalistic style of cuisine, and I aimed to reflect this in the menu design. I focused on highlighting the use of natural ingredients sourced from local suppliers and farms, which was a key aspect of the restaurant's concept.were a key aspect I focused on.
Design Process
The visual elements of the menu were designed in Illustrator to enhance the brand's message of offering a natural menu. Its simple layout makes it easy for readers to navigate and complements the modern, minimalist environment that Mélo Eatery has created.
In addition to designing the menu, I also developed a concept for a cookbook that the restaurant could sell, featuring recipes for dishes that are no longer available on the menu. I created a four-page spread with different layouts based on the size of each recipe and the images the restaurant may want to use.
